Fazoli’s is unveiling its new, contemporary look and expanded service model this week at its Normal, Ill., restaurant, just one week after re-opening a redesigned store in Champaign, Ill.
Fazoli’s acquired the restaurants earlier this year from an independent franchisee. Since then, the company has made a significant investment in remodeling the restaurants and adding staff and equipment needed to offer expanded service.
The Normal and Champaign locations are among the first Fazoli’s in the country to offer the new décor and service style.
“It’s exciting to be part of a restaurant chain that is investing in local communities like Normal and Champaign,” said Carl Howard, president and CEO. “Whether it’s during the holidays or year round, families deserve real food they can afford in a fun, friendly environment, and that’s what the new Fazoli’s is all about.”
Along with updating its restaurants, Fazoli’s has overhauled the menus, part of its overall brand reimage strategy.
“Guests who have not visited Fazoli’s in a while will be very impressed with the changes and improvements we have made to our food,” Howard said. “We have created dozens of new items and improved the flavor of long-time favorites, and our entrees and sandwiches are cooked fresh when ordered.”
Fazoli’s also this month is serving, for a limited time, three new varieties of lasagna – Chicken Pesto, Sausage Italia and Quattro Formaggi.
