Fazoli's opening in Panama City

Fazoli's, owned by FAT Brands, is opening its first Panama City-based restaurant Tuesday at 2219 MLK Blvd., marking the brand's fifth location in Florida.

"We can't wait to bring Panama City its go-to spot for Fast. Fresh. Italian," franchisee Bob Amin said in a company press release. "The Bay City Point shopping center is a great hub for the community, and Fazoli's delicious Italian recipes and famous bread sticks will be the perfect fuel up after a day out shopping or hitting the beach. We can't wait to open our doors!"

FAT Brands owns 17 restaurant brands: Round Table Pizza, Fatburger, Marble Slab Creamery, Johnny Rockets, Fazoli's, Twin Peaks, Great American Cookies, Hot Dog on a Stick, Buffalo's Cafe & Express, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Pretzelmaker, Elevation Burger, Native Grill & Wings, Yalla Mediterranean and Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses.
