Fazoli's is offering an incentive for those who stick to their New Year's resolution. On Jan. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., customers who bring a workout video or DVD to a participating Fazoli's restaurant will get a free 500 calorie-or-less entrée.
The video could be anything from Richard Simmons to Pilates to Jazzercise.
Those who miss the Jan. 9 offer can save $1 on every $5 purchase toward the 500 calorie-or-less entrees by bringing in their favorite workout video throughout the rest of January.
Fazoli's features a number of 400 and 500 calories-or-less entrees. They include Chicken Mushroom Alfredo Bake, Three Cheese Baked Ravioli, Chicken Penne & Peppers and Cherry Almond Chicken Chopped Salad. Other new items at participating locations include Tuscan Chicken Flatbread Pizza and Chicken Broccoli Florentine Flatbread Pizza.
Additionally, Fazoli's mascot Tony the Tomato is now featured in a fitness video of his own. You can catch him on facebook.com/fazolis.
"So many of us start the new year committed to getting in shape," said Cathy Hull, chief marketing officer. "Our new low calorie entrees are packed with all the flavor and freshness of our other signature dishes, but we've removed the guilt. They're perfect for lunch or dinner, with the family, or with a co-worker. And you will leave Fazoli's satisfied, which should help you keep your resolution — that's the hardest part."
