Fazoli's will focus on bosses during the month of October with two promotions: a "best boss" contest and free lunch for bosses on Oct. 16.

Fazoli's will focus on bosses during the month of October with two promotions: a "best boss" contest and free lunch for bosses on Oct. 16.

Employees are encouraged to nominate their boss in Fazoli's Best Boss Bash on the restaurant chain's Facebook page at facebook.com/fazolis. The top 10 winning bosses will get lunch catered to their office. Deadline to enter is Oct. 24.

"There is a lot of talk in the media about bad bosses. But we know there are also bosses who are mentors, advisors, and team builders, and we want to honor them with a fresh Italian catered meal at the office," said Fazoli's VP of Marketing Jon Quinn in a company press release.

Fazoli's will also give all bosses a free lunch on National Bosses Day, Oct. 16. On that day only, bosses will receive a Free $5 Lunch Special when they bring four or more employees to dine in the restaurant. Offer is good at participating Fazoli's restaurants across the country. The free lunch is available until 2:30 p.m. Bosses should say "I'm the Boss" to get the deal.
