Fatburger sponsoring Facebook 'Cook-Off'

Fatburger is challenging its social media fans to build their own burger using Fatburger patties sold at Walmart and post results on Facebook. The best burger concept will win $10,000.

Fatburger is challenging its social media fans to build their own burger using Fatburger patties sold at Walmart. Fans can then post videos on the Fatburger Facebook page for a chance to win $10,000 and a trip to Los Angeles to participate in "The Great Fatburger Kitchen Cook-Off."

Three finalists will be chosen and evaluated by a panel of Fatburger judges based on creativity, originality, appearance and taste at the Beverly Hills Fatburger/Buffalo's Express restaurant. The best burger concept will win $10,000.

"We really wanted to bring the Fatburger experience into the homes of our guests by providing them with the opportunity to make their own burger," said CEO Andy Wiederhorn in a company press release. "Social media is the perfect platform for this type of competition, and we look forward to seeing what burger concoctions the top three finalists have in store for us in Los Angeles."
