Fatburger opens first Doha, Qatar location

Fatburger recently announced the opening of its first location in Doha, Qatar, in The Pearl, a tourist and recreational destination. The new Fatburger, owned by franchisee Khalifa Al Sowaidi of Al Sowaidi Investment, is located at Madina Centrale, The Pearl, Building No. 8, Unit 71.

Fatburger now has more than 150 units in 32 countries.

"Qatar is a great market with huge potential for Fatburger and we feel honored that our brand can be a part of the culture of The Pearl, an island that represents Qatar’s rich past in the pearl industry," CEO Andy Wiederhorn said in the release. "We are excited to partner with Al Sowaidi Investment and we anticipate great success for this location."
