Fatburger recently announced the opening of its first locations in India and Malaysia.

The Indian unit is located in Delhi, the largest city in India, and the Malaysian unit is located in Citta Mall, an open-air shopping center located in Petaling Jaya.

Due to Indian cultural preferences, Fatburger has adjusted the menu for its Delhi location to include beef-free options by incorporating chicken and lamb into its recipes as well as placing a significant emphasis on vegetarian options. Several new menu items also use the traditional flavors and spices of India.

"Though Fatburger is famous for its beef-based menu items, we have much to offer our global fans in terms of variety and flexibility in our meat and flavor options," said CEO of Fatburger, Andy Wiederhorn. "We had a lot of fun exploring new menu concepts for the Delhi location, and we anticipate great success in sharing the Fatburger standard of quality with residents in the market."
