Fatburger announced today the opening of its first co-branded location in Islamabad, Pakistan.
This is the second location to be opened by BIL Foods, a food and beverage distributor, who opened the first Fatburger unit in Karachi, Pakistan, in January 2013.
Currently, Fatburger has 150 locations in 32 countries with recent openings in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Istanbul, Turkey, while Buffalo's Cafe has locations in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, California and Georgia.
Fatburger is aiming to open 300 new units in the United States, Asia, Europe and the Middle East in the coming years, and Buffalo's Café anticipates 30 to 40 new openings by the end of the year.
"With Islamabad being the leading cosmopolitan center of Pakistan, the addition of our brand to this market is a huge accomplishment for us and we cannot wait to see the customer's response," said CEO of Fatburger and Buffalo's Cafe, Andy Wiederhorn, in a company press release. "We are grateful to have partners like BIL Foods to work with as we continue to grow internationally."
