Fatburger announces development deal for 15 stores in the Philippines

Fatburger announced a development agreement giving Trimark Holdings Inc., the exclusive rights to develop more than 15 stores throughout Manila and surrounding cities.

Roughly half of Fatburger's 150 locations are currently based overseas with recent openings in Islamabad, Pakistan and Muscat, Oman. The burger brand anticipates to open 300 additional locations in the coming years.

"Trimark has a wealth of knowledge in the franchise industry and we could not be happier to have them as a key partner in our growth plans for the Philippines," said Andy Wiederhorn, CEO of Fatburger, in a company press release. "We are committed to opening in new territories throughout the world for our loyal Fatburger fan base and cannot wait to share our unparalleled burger experience with the country."
