Fast Casual Executive Summit registration opens

April 27, 2010

The Fast Casual Executive Summit has announced it is now accepting requests for invitations for its 2010 event. The fourth annual Summit will be held Oct. 10-12 at the Sofitel Chicago Watertower hotel.

The Summit is reserved for fast casual restaurant executives at the vice president level or higher.

The theme of this year's summit is "Shaken, Not Stirred," taken from the line made famous by James Bond in the 1956 book "Diamonds are Forever" and first uttered in the 1958 movie "Dr. No."

"The idea this year is to 'shake up' top-level executives with two days of colloborative and educational sessions. We promise not to 'stir the same old pot,' but to give operators and executives innovative ideas they can use to improve both their short- and long-term operations," said Paul Barron, event founder and publisher of FastCasual.com.

The event will begin Oct. 10 with a food tour of several fast casual restaurants located around Chicago. Days two and three will include executive panels, 90-minute collaborative sessions structured around specific topics, and small group discussions on industry issues.

Event sponsors include NEC, Integrated Control Corp., mUrgent, Truitt Brothers, the California Milk Advisory Board and Wireless Ronin.
