Farm Burger customers 'will vote for free fries'

November 2, 2018

Atlanta-based Farm Burger isn't opening until 12:30 p.m., Tuesday to give employees ample time to vote in Midterm Elections and will also give free fries to customers who come in wearing  "I Voted" stickers. The offer is valid for dine-in only with no minimum purchase required, according to a company press release.

"Our commitment to our team members and community must extend beyond the walls of our stores," CEO Jason Mann, said in the release. "We want our team members to feel empowered to get out and vote. They should not have to choose between work and exercising this essential right. When we do open at 12:30 p.m., we will also offer free fries to voters to celebrate democracy and thank them for their participation."

Founded in 2008, Farm Burger calls itself an "ethical burger restaurant group committed to leading the fast casual industry in forging a sustainable food future." At its 12 locations nationwide, Farm Burger crafts 100-percent grass-fed, grass-finished beef burgers, dry-aged and ground fresh, as well as other menu items made with local-sourced ingredients.

In addition to four locations in Georgia, Farm Burger operates in Alabama, California, North Carolina and Tennessee.
