European fitness club David Lloyd Leisure is enhancing the fast casual concept — DLicious — found inside its clubs by launching a new menu for its health-conscious members and extending its deli range to include a bespoke children's offering, according to a company press release.
The fast casual restaurant based around Paleolithic food philosophies aims to help members feel energized throughout the day, enabling them to reap the rewards that eating a healthy and balanced diet brings to physical performance and well-being. The new Fast Fitness Food menu integrates David Lloyd Leisure's approach to eating with its expertise in helping people achieve their health and fitness goals through sport and exercise, said Andy Lowe, David Lloyd Leisure's head of food and beverage.
"Our overall aim is to support all our members fully in helping them achieve their health and fitness goals both on the inside and outside — and DLicious perfectly complements our unrivalled expertise in sports and exercise," Lowe said.
The new menu features more fresh, nutritious dishes using quality ingredients, plus a newly launched delicatessen range for junior members. The children's menu, specially developed to complement the adult menu with delicious, wholesome dishes, now offers even greater variety and choice, Lowe said.
"We've worked very hard to further enhance DLicious, taking into account the opinions and tastes of our highly valued members, and it now offers them even greater choice and value for money," Lowe said. "We are particularly excited about introducing a bespoke deli range for children, which enables us to provide a comprehensive, healthy food and beverage offering for the whole family."
