Einstein Bros., Mile High United Way sponsor Denver Turkey Trot

November 17, 2011

Einstein Bros. Bagels has announced that it will sponsor the 2011 Mile High United Way Turkey Trot race, which is Mile High United Way’s top fundraiser. Proceeds from the four-mile run/walk will support Mile High United Way's School Readiness Youth Success and Adult Self Sufficiency initiatives.

This is the second year in a row that Einstein Bros. Bagels has sponsored the Mile High United Way Turkey Trot race.

“Einstein Bros. Bagels has always encouraged healthy lifestyles in the communities we serve and partnering with Mile High United Way again shows our commitment to that mission,” said Jeff O’Neill, CEO and president of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group. “As a Colorado-based company, we want to show our local community that we are not only dedicated to serving healthier menu items, but are also committed to encouraging healthy lifestyles and activities.”

As part of the sponsorship, Einstein Bros. Bagels will have a booth at the Turkey Trot finish line where mini bagels, coupons and other goodies will be given to participants. In years past, the Mile High United Way Turkey Trot has attracted nearly 10,000 Thanksgiving Day trotters.

Throughout the entire month of November, Einstein Bros. Bagels locations will implement fundraisers benefiting the Pikes Peak United Way, Foothills United Way and Mile High United Way.
