Einstein Bros. Bagels to sponsor 2012 P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona marathon

Einstein Bros. Bagels has announced that it will sponsor the 2012 P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & ½ Marathon to benefit the National MS Society, one of the largest races in  the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series.

This is the first year that Einstein Bros. Bagels has sponsored the annual mash-up of entertainment and fitness, which highlights the neighboring cities of Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe.

“Einstein Bros. Bagels has always encouraged healthy lifestyles in the communities we serve and partnering with Competitor Group shows our commitment to that mission,” said Jeff O’Neill, CEO and president of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Inc.  “As a community oriented company, we want to show the local community that we are not only dedicated to serving healthier menu items, but are also committed to encouraging healthy lifestyles and activities.” 

As part of the sponsorship, Einstein Bros. Bagels will be handing out 30,000 bagels to all finishers at the finish line and coupons will be distributed in the runners’ registration packets. This year’s race is expected to draw more than 30,000 participants from across the country.
