Dickey's welcomes Sanchez Smith to its franchisee family

New neighbors are often welcomed with cookies or some other edible treat but Sanchez Smith decided to reverse that trend and offer his new home state of Georgia a new Dickey's Barbecue Pit location, according to a press release.

"I am excited to become a part of the Dickey's Barbecue Pit family and look forward to learning alongside fellow owner/operators," Smith said in the release. "My community is in need of a delicious barbecue option and I am happy to provide that to them with Dickey's slow-smoked barbecue."

The new location will open in early 2018 and will be Dickey's twelfth in Georgia, according to the release.

"The Dickey's Barbecue Pit family is thrilled to have Sanchez Smith join our team," Laura Rea Dickey, CEO of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, said in the release.
