Dickey's expands in California

California will see five new Dickey's Barbecue Pit locations, beginning in 2017, according to a company press release.  PK Group, Inc. will open the first unit in Huntington Beach in 2017 with subsequent restaurants planned for Costa Mesa, Lakewood, Yorba Linda and Cerritos/Artesia, according to the release.   

"I look forward to opening my first restaurant and am thrilled to go into business with Phil,"  said PK co-founder Kevin Solomon. "Dickey's is doing great things and we are excited to be a part of the brand's growth in California."

After these additions, Dickey's Barbecue Pit will have more than 100 California locations.

"Dickey's has grown exponentially throughout California and we look forward to adding these five new locations," saied Dickey's CEO Roland Dickey, Jr. "After Texas, California has the most Dickey's locations with new stores opening weekly. We congratulate Kelvin Solomon and Phillip Peoples on this venture."
