Datassential's released its newest Keynote Report on Appetizers, a detailed report on trends and consumer insights about appetizers. The research, which found that 85 percent of all restaurants serve some form of an appetizer, consists of information on what appetizers consumers want the most and what operators are doing about it.

The report also addresses specific appetizer trends such as the charcuterie board, the small/shared plate, and the ethnic spices making a splash in the appetizer landscape, according to a company press release.
