Daphine's Greek Café creates English learning courses for employees

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Daphne's Greek Cafe, a Greek fast-casual concept, has announced the company-wide launch of Sed de Sabre ("Thirst for Knowledge") program, a comprehensive series of English learning courses. Sed de Sabre, which is produced by Retention Education and LeapFrog Enterprises, is specifically designed for Spanish-speaking adults and provides an engaging, multisensory curriculum through portable, touch-pad computers. Enrollees have the opportunity to learn at their own pace, in the comfort and privacy of their own home.
 
The courses are currently available to all Daphne's team members. "Sed de Sabre provides a life-enriching opportunity for team members to improve their knowledge and use of the English language," said George Katakalidis, founder and chief executive of Daphne's Greek Cafe.
