Fans of CUPS Frozen Yogurt – That's Hot, a beach-themed self-serve fro-yo concept, can now purchase digital gift cards, according to a company press release.
Once purchased online, the certificate is emailed to the recipient, where it can be printed or added to digital wallets on iPhones or Android Passbooks.
"Digital gift cards have been around for a few years, but the vast majority were offered by large companies like a Starbucks," said Rick Barbrick, CUPS co-founder. "We are pleased to offer CUPS customers a convenient and easy way to purchase gift cards for their family and friends."
Through Dec. 31, CUPS is offering a $5-bonus card with a $10-gift card purchase. Bonus cards are available online with a digital gift card purchase and with physical cards in-store.
