Florida-based Crispers has hired Dawn Voss as CEO. She formerly the Chief Administrative Officer of Noodles and Company, which went public in June of this year. During her seven years at Noodles, the chain tripled in size from 100 locations to more than 300. She provided leadership in the areas of operations, franchise sales, menu development, site selection, restaurant design and development, human resources and supply chain management. Voss also contributed to the growth of a strong franchise base, including the sale of more than 200 locations, according to a company press release. Voss is an alumna of Wendy's International, KFC and McDonalds, where she held various senior leadership positions.
"We are excited that Dawn has joined Crispers as its CEO," said Charles Hanemann, managing partner of parent company Boyne Capital. "Dawn brings a deep and broad skill set to Crispers. There are many similarities between the Noodles when Dawn joined and where Crispers is now. I believe that with Dawn's addition to Crispers' talented management team, the company will be set for success. Dawn's lifelong dedication to menu quality, industry leading service, and people development will make a strong contribution to Crispers' customers and team members."
Crispers opened its first restaurant in 1989, and now operates 28 locations throughout Florida. The menu offers fresh and healthy fare consisting mainly of salads, soups, sandwiches and crispy flatbreads. Boyne acquired Crispers from Publix Super Markets Inc. in July of 2011.
