Cowboy Chicken's intros low-cal menu

January 16, 2014

Dallas-based Cowboy Chicken has created a new Low Cal Corral Menu to help customers wanting to eat healthy. The menu offers five meals under 500 calories, according to a company press release, and includes: Wood-fire rotisserie chicken, skinless chicken breast, salads and nutritious sides, such as baked sweet potatoes, green beans, tomato cucumber salad and campfire veggies.

"Our guests are increasingly interested in delicious, convenient and healthy options," said Sean Kenned, president of Cowboy Chicken. "I believe today's diners are becoming more educated about food ingredients and their relation to individual health. For that reason, I think minimally processed items will continue to grow in popularity. Specifically, I think creative and delicious use of seasonal, fresh vegetables and fruits will be popular in 2014."
