Cowboy Chicken and TEXACAL Foods have inked a lease agreement to begin developing a unit in San Diego with the opening set for October, according to a press release. This agreement is part of a deal made last year between Cowboy Chicken and TEXACAL Foods for 30 Cowboy Chicken locations in California.
"Cowboy Chicken's culture is rooted in honest family values that you can feel in our restaurants, taste in our food and feel from our staff members," Sean Kennedy, president and CEO of Cowboy Chicken, said in the release. "We work hard, we love what we do and we strive to exceed our guests' expectations. We are excited to work with smart, experienced partners like TEXACAL Foods to bring our all-natural, wood-fired rotisserie chicken to the people of California."
The concept currently has 19 units throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Nebraska and Alabama, according to the release.
