Costa Vida hires former Lone Star executive as president

LAYTON, Utah — Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill hired Jeff Bracken as its president and chief operating officer.
According to a news release, Bracken will oversee Costa Vida's operations, menu development and human capital development, with a specific focus on restaurant-level procedures, systems, training and suppliers. Bracken previously served as the chief operating officer for the publicly traded restaurant chain Lone Star Steakhouse and Saloon Inc.
Bracken said he will help turn the fresh-Mex fast-casual into a leading national restaurant chain. There are 15 stores operating in six states.
