Cosi to remain independent

Crain's Chicago Business:Cosi Inc.said Tuesday it has completed a review of strategic alternatives and will remain an independent company. The Deerfield, Ill.-based chain reviewed several proposals for financing or an acquisition, but concluded staying independent offers the best way to maximize shareholder value.
