Cornery Bakery, Taco Cabana name BizCom Associates as PR agency

Dallas-based public relations agency BizCom Associates has added Corner Bakery Cafe and Taco Cabana as new clients.

Corner Bakery Cafe is a Dallas-based fast casual restaurant chain located in 14 states and Washington D.C. Established in 1991, Corner Bakery Cafe restaurants are owned and operated by CBC Restaurant Corp. with more than 150 company-owned and franchised locations open or in development. The company recently announced plans to double its footprint in the U.S. throughout the next four years.

With more than 156 restaurants in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico, San Antonio-based Taco Cabana is owned and operated by Fiesta Restaurant Group Inc.

"We've had a long and successful track record working with leaders in the restaurant industry and franchising," said Scott White, BizCom president. "We're honored to have these two high profile concepts choose us to help them expand their brands nationally."

BizCom will handle consumer PR and marketing communications for Taco Cabana, and franchise development PR and marketing for Corner Bakery Cafe.

Other BizCom clients include Edible Arrangements, Wingstop Restaurants, Red Mango Yogurt, Pizza Inn and Pie Five Pizza Co.
