Corner Bakery signs SaaS agreement with ArrowStream

ArrowStream, a provider of Software-as-a-Service supply chain management technology, announced via press release that Corner Bakery Café has signed a SaaS license agreement for ArrowStream OnDemand, a visibility and predictability software solution.

Corner Bakery Café's purchasing and supply chain department will utilize OnDemand to improve its supply chain management practices and efficiency using the following OnDemand components: Spend Management, Inventory and Promotions Management, Contract Management and Supply Chain Analytics.

"After reviewing different software providers, we (Corner Bakery Café) realized that ArrowStream's solution was the right choice," said Ric Scicchitano, SVP- Food and Beverage at Corner Bakery Café. "Not only is the application extremely robust and intuitive, but the organizational support behind its offering is exceptional."

He said the chain will benefit from OnDemand's extensive functionality, including:

• Streamlined contract and pricing administration processes, enabling procurement professionals to focus on more high-impact, strategic initiatives;
• Improved demand planning and limited-time offer (LTO) management;
• Increased profitability through contract compliance auditing and recovery, ensuring that each location realizes the full benefit of its contracted pricing; and
• Increased customer satisfaction and retention by minimizing stock outs through detailed nightly reporting of inventory levels of all goods throughout the distribution network.
