Corner Bakery Cafe has announced an extension to its “100 Under 600” program that features more than 100 different combinations of sandwiches, panini, hand-tossed salads or homemade soups, all under 600 calories.
“Fad diets always seem to emerge after the holidays, but don’t typically last long. We believe our guests shouldn’t have to sacrifice great taste in order to eat healthfully,” said Ric Scicchitano, Corner Bakery Cafe's senior vice president of Food and Beverage.
Uniting anti-dieters on Facebook, Corner Bakery Cafe is now inviting guests to visit its page, adopt the Anti-Diet Resolution and share their personal stories for living a healthier lifestyle in exchange for a complimentary Corner Combo. They also can read tips from other anti-dieters and find motivation for healthier living in the new year. The first 5,000 visitors to “like” Corner Bakery Cafe’s Facebook page and submit a personal story will receive a postcard for a free Corner Combo.
As another extension of the “100 Under 600” program, guests are invited to visit Corner Bakery’s website and Facebook page to try the “100 Under 600” Calorie Calculator for customized healthy meal planning. The calorie calculator allows guests to pair sandwiches and panini with salads and soups to find the perfect combination under 600 calories.
Corner Bakery Cafe opened its first location in 1991 and now operates 118 locations across the country.
