Corner Bakery Cafe awards free catering service

DALLAS — To kick off National Volunteer Appreciation Week, Corner Bakery Cafe has announced a list of more than 100 charitable organizations that will receive free catered meals as the winners of its month-long "Catering to Our Community" contest.
More than 1,000 organizations were entered into the contest by Corner Bakery Cafe guests for the chance to win complimentaryCorner Bakery Cafe cateringfor breakfast or lunch.
Winning organizations range from theCancer Care Foundationin Wilmette, Ill., to theAmerican Red Cross Dallas Area Chapterand theCystic Fibrosis Foundation in San DiegotoHelping Out Pets Everyday (HOPE)in Upland, Calif. Volunteers at each organization will choose from Corner Bakery's signature catering items like the Corner Breakfast, Corner Trio or Corner Classic, which includes an assortment of delicious sandwiches, fresh salads and sweet treats.
The list of confirmed winning organizations is posted online and will be updated throughout the week on Corner Bakery Cafe'sGood NeighborsWeb page.
