City Wok opens first franchise unit, more planned

PALM DESSERT, Calif. — City Wok, a fast-casual Chinese concept, opened its first franchised location July 24.

According to a news release, the chain recently signed five multiunit franchising deals for a total of 23 new restaurants in California and Arizona.

According to the company's Web site, there are five stores in operation.
