Chuck E. Cheese sends 'mouse' to your house with DoorDash in San Diego

Chuck E. Cheese is introducing a new Pizza Party Pack and making it exclusively available through DoorDash for a new way to host all those kids parties on home turf. Currently, the brand is only featuring the packs through its San Diego stores, where it suggests in its news release that the pack are also great for office parties, game nights and sleepovers, among others. 

The 12-person kits include what the brand said is everything needed for a "pop-up" party, including three large pizzas, a decorated Chuck E. Cheese cake, party décor and all the supplies needed to turn home, office or other location into a well-"Chuck'd" party for $10 per person.

"Chuck E. Cheese is already known as the expert in fun, so it's a natural extension for us to be the first brand to deliver a kit of fun anywhere a group wants to gather," CEC Entertainment Inc. Chief Marketing and Concept Officer Ashley Zickefoose, said in the release. "Chuck E. Cheese is continually innovating to meet evolving consumer needs. We collaborated with Door Dash to create the Pizza Party Pack as a way to innovate within our growing delivery channel and bring a unique celebratory experience complete with food and decor directly to guests with one click."

The brand also recently launched an All You Can Play initiative that allows guests to pay for playing games at the brand's locations by buying time instead of points or tokens. The chain is also remodeling nationally to update hundreds of locations.

Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Party Pack is $124.99 per pack and is currently available for delivery exclusively through DoorDash in San Diego, with an eye to expand nationally, the brand said.
