Chipotle Q3 sales skyrocket

DENVER — Chipotle Mexican Grill reported its strongest quarter of 2006.
For 12 weeks ended Sept. 30, 2006, comparable-restaurant sales increased 11.6 percent. Revenue increased 28.3 percent to $211.3 million, while net income rose $11.8 million compared to $5.1 million in 2005.
