Chipotle heats up Chicago with soup

The windy city of Chicago will join Chipotle's hometown of Denver as the only other market to offer soup on the menu.

Joining the company's menu of burritos, tacos and quesadillas will be posole soup, which was launched in Chicago Monday.

The vegan offering is made without any animal products and includes a tomato and hominy base, and vegetables.

An 8-ounce portion sells for $3.33 and for an additional cost it can be garnished with chicken or other Chipotle selections.
