Chipotle, Farm Aid partner

DENVER — On Aug. 29, 2007,Chipotle Mexican Grill will donate proceeds from sales of its items madewith naturally raised pork, beef and chicken to Farm Aid, a nonprofitorganization that supports family farming and sustainableagriculture.

"We decided long ago that we didn't want Chipotle's success to betied to the exploitation of animals, farmers or the environment,"Chipotle founder, chairman and CEO Steve Ells said. "Family farmstend to preserve more traditional ways of farming and produce betterfood because of it."

Chipotle will contribute up to $50,000 to Farm Aid, the company announced in a news release.
