Chipotle debuts free Sunday delivery, 'things you borrow' kit

Chipotle Mexican Grill is offering free delivery on Sundays through the rest of the month and launching a "borrowing" kit in select markets, all in honor of the back-to-school season.

The Sunday delivery is available on orders of $10 or more via the Chipotle app and runs through Sept. 29, a news release said.

The "Things You 'Borrow' Kit," which provides plastic forks, napkins and Tabasco sauces, is being offered to the first 50 digital order customers in select markets with the Sunday delivery order. Customers outside of the select delivery markets can grab a kit online while supplies last, according to the release. The campaign is geared toward college students.

"We want to bring the entire Chipotle experience to your door or dorm, including the extras that we know get swiped in the restaurant," said Tressie Lieberman, vice president of digital and off-premise of Chipotle, in the release.
