Atlanta-based Chicken Salad Chick will open its first West Virginia restaurant Sept. 16 in Barboursville, expanding its footprint to 26 states.
Located at 21 Tanyard Drive, the restaurant is owned and operated by first-time franchisees Tammy and Rancie Hannah, who have additional expansion plans for the brand.
As part of pre-opening Friends & Family events, the Barboursville restaurant will raise money for Ronald McDonald House.
"Expanding Chicken Salad Chick's reach to West Virginia is another milestone in our brand's development momentum this year," Chicken Salad Chick President and CEO Scott Deviney said in a press release."With the openings of our first restaurants in New York and Michigan also on the horizon, it's an exciting time to be part of the Chicken Salad Chick brand."
Chicken Salad Chick operates more than 345 restaurants across 26 states and continues to expand through its network of franchisees. The company recently opened restaurants in Minnesota, North Carolina and Utah.
