Chicken Salad Chick expands Florida presence

Chicken Salad Chick announced it will open its first location in Lake Nona as part of a continued expansion in Florida. According to a company press release, the unit's grand opening will be on Tuesday, Sept. 27, and will consist of a variety of promotional giveaways lasting until Sept. 30.

"Kevin and I were great friends for years and used to eat chicken salad every afternoon after football practice," said Adam Reeves, the franchisee and a childhood friend of Chicken Salad Chick's founder, Kevin Brown. "Today, 25 years later, I’m honored to be a part of this amazing concept that he helped build from the ground up."

According to the release, Reeves is part of an existing Chicken Salad Chick franchising team with his mother-in-law, a former mortgage broker.
