CherryBerry inks 35-unit deal

September 20, 2011

At least 35 CherryBerry Self-Serve Yogurt Bars will soon be open in Nebraska. Beautiful Brands International (BBI) announced today the signing of a Master Franchise agreement with Gamfield Investment Group LLC to open the bars.

"This deal represents a monumental opportunity to energize the CherryBerry franchise and catapult our brand to the next level," said David Rutkauskas, Beautiful Brands Founder, president and CEO.

The agreement between CherryBerry, BBI and Gamfield Investment is part of an expansive strategy by BBI to partner with committed franchise developers with significant capital to grow the brand globally. The CherryBerry franchise currently has a total of 34 stores open nationwide with 14 stores under construction and 60 more to be opened within the next year alone. The first Cherry Berry unit from this agreement is slated to open in Lincoln by the summer of 2012.

"We really see this as a terrific business opportunity with BBI to make CherryBerry a recognized name in self-serve frozen yogurt nationwide," said Larry Canfield, CEO of Gamfield Investment Group. "We couldn't be more excited about being on the forefront of franchising this incredible brand regionally and look forward to building a strong unified effort for expansion and growth."

CherryBerry Self-Serve Yogurt Bar offers 16 premium rotating healthy and fat-free frozen yogurt flavors and more than 50 toppings. The store features self-serve yogurt stations, plus a toppings bar to make it easy for customers to customize their own yogurt creations. Pricing for the dessert is by the ounce.
