Gosh Enterprises, parent company of Charley's Grilled Subs and Charleys Philly Steaks, has signed a development agreement to open 25 locations in Russia through a partnership with Aurelian Brand Development and Oriando Limited. ABD is a part of Aurelian Global Holdings.
The agreement marks the debut of Charleys Philly Steaks in the Russian market.
ABD, which develops American retail and food and beverage brands in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and South America, owns several other fast casual restaurant concept franchises, according to a news release.
"We are excited to collaborate with Gosh Enterprises to bring this tremendous brand to the Russian consumers. Outside of being a leader of its segment in the American market, Charley's has clearly demonstrated to be a successful brand on a global scale and Russia should only continue that trend. We believe there is a void in the Russian market for quality, grilled sandwiches and we are certain that Charley's is the perfect brand to fill it," said Nicole Sweat, ABD's director of Business Development.
The Columbus, Ohio-based Charleys brand has more than 500 locations in 47 states and U.S. territories, and in 22 countries.
