Charley's introduces Spicy Asian sandwich

In response to customer demand, Charley's Grilled Subs has rolled out a Spicy Asian BBQ Chicken sandwich nationwide.

The sandwich, offered for a limited time , is grilled-to-order and prepared with all-natural chicken, grilled onions, creamy white American cheese, crisp cucumber and Charley's signature Spicy Asian BBQ sauce.

"The Spicy Asian BBQ Chicken sandwich offers the perfect combination of savory flavors and texture. It is a new take on a sandwich using ingredients that are favorites," said Chung Choe, R&D Specialist for Charley's Grilled Subs.

The sandwich also features the flavor of Korean BBQ. While the popularity of Korean flavors started with the Kogi BBQ Truck in Los Angeles, the flavor has gained national attention. Korean-inspired flavors were ranked by restaurant industry analysts, Technomic, as one of the top five food and flavor trends of 2011.
