Caribou Coffee announces executive changes

MINNEAPOLIS — Caribou Coffee Company Inc. has announced several changes to the company's executive team.
Daniel J. Hurdle is joining the company as the senior vice president of supply chain, product management & real estate development. Hurdle formerly held executive posts at Starbucks in the retail food business and retail store construction and operations.
Also joining the company is Alfredo V. Martel, who will serve as the senior vice president of marketing. Martel will assume responsibility for the company's brand strategy and marketing activities. He joins Caribou Coffee from Yum! Brands, where he has worked for the past eight years, most recently as part of the corporate executive leadership team for KFC USA.
Leaving the company will be Kathy Hollenhorst, who is currently responsible for marketing and product development, and Amy O'Neil, who is responsible for retail store operations.
