Capriotti's enhances catering menu

Capriotti's Sandwich Shop now has a more extensive catering menu, including the Cap's Big Box Lunch which is a 9-inch sub, small chips or cole slaw and a fresh baked cookie. The Cap's Meatball Bar allows customers to assemble a meatball sandwich with hot homemade meatballs in marinara sauce, provolone cheese, grated Romano cheese and fresh rolls.

Capriotti's also offers a variety of its signature sandwiches on traditional party platters for as low as $5 per person. The Delaware's Finest platter has all of the Capriotti's classics including the Bobbie, made with homemade turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo, the Slaw Be Jo made with roast beef, provolone, Russian dressing, mayo and cole slaw, and the Italian made with Genoa salami, capacolla, prosciutini, lettuce, tomato and onion. The Sampler is perfect for those who prefer to build their own platters from all of their favorite subs including the Bobbie, Cole Turkey, Slaw Be Jo, Veggie Turkey and many others, said Ashley Morris, Capriotti's CEO.

"Capriotti's has always been a popular choice for parties, offices lunches and family get-togethers; and we wanted to create some fun new options," she said. "We know these offerings will excite our fans since we are making delicious Capriotti's sandwiches available in some creative formats as well as now offering the Meatball sandwich that previously had not been available for catering."
