When it comes to the best place to live for beer lovers Spokane, Washington is tops, according to a Lawn Love report that ranked the top cities for beer fans. The report, 2021's Best Cities for Beer Lovers, looked at the number of breweries, award-winning beers, cheap pints and beer-centered festivals, according to a press release.

Spokane took top honors, placing second in both access and the prestigious World Beer Awards. The state's close proximity to inland wheat, barley and hop fields also attributed to its win.

2021's best cities for beer lovers are:

1. Spokane, WA
2. Portland, OR
3. Denver, CO
4. Seattle, WA
5. Cincinnati, OH
6. Salt Lake City, UT
7. Boston, MA
8. Pittsburgh, PA
9. Fort Lauderdale, FL
10. Fort Collins, CO

Portland, Oregon, came in second both overall and in beer quality. Seattle (No. 4) has more than 60 breweries in the city.

San Bernardino, California (No. 180), Columbus, Georgia (No. 179), Kansas City, Kansas (No. 178), Plano, Texas (No. 177), and Laredo, Texas (No. 176) all placed in the bottom for best cities for beer lovers. Most have populations under 300,000 people.
