Cafe Rio expands on East Coast

Cafe Rio Mexican Grill has announced the opening of its fifth location on the East Coast and their 52nd location nationwide. The restaurant will open its doors in Waldorf, Md., on June 30.

Cafe Rio Mexican Grill will support the local community by donating $2500 to the Hope for the Warriors Foundation. Cafe Rio also is introducing Military Mondayswith a 25 percent discount for all active military personnel and their families. Additionally, the company will donate 25 cents from every burrito transaction to Hope for the Warriors. To date, they have contributed more than $15,000 toward helping wounded warriors and their families.

"Opening a fifth location on the east coast is very exciting for us," states Bob Baker, President and CFO of Cafe Rio Mexican Grill. "We've received great support from our customers and the local community. We could not be more pleased in continuing our East Coast expansion into Waldorf."

Cafe Rio was recently voted the number one Quick Service Restaurant in the Nation through the Sandelman and Associates' Quick-Track Award. The Quick-Track Award is an honor limited to the best restaurant performers in the nation and is based solely on customer reviews and dining experience. This is the second consecutive year Café Rio received the award.
