Bull City Burger and Brewery's marketing team has launched its latest over-the-top promo. From the same minds who developed a logo tattoo program that gets the logo-tattooed customer 26 percent off for life, is a new contest asking customers to get hands-on with Major, the restaurant's large bronze bull sculpture.
The last of the 30 participants who agree to the terms laid out in the contest rules and keep one hand on Major the longest will win a free burger, dirty fries and non-alcoholic beverage each week for a year from the Durham, N.C.-based restaurant.
This contest begins at 8 a.m. March 30 and will end at 11 p.m.
Participants should also dress up because the most "outlandish, yet tasteful" costume as voted by the crowd will receive a bonus potty break, according to Owner Seth Gross, who advised participants to read the rest of the rules for other important info. He also encouraged players to get sponsors for charitable donations to support a cause, and have a crowd to cheer them on. Donation dollars equal votes in the costume contest, so those with small bladders should rally a big crowd, Gross said.
