Bruegger's Bagels takes a trip down Route 66

Inspired by one of America's most iconic roads, Route 66, Bruegger's Bagels announced several new fall menu items and named one after the road itself, according to a company press release.

"Fall is a nostalgic time of the year, starting with early school days and ending in the holiday season, and we wanted to bring fond memories to our menu with a trip down Route 66," VP of Marketing Judy Kadylak said in the release. "We combine those classic diner flavors with our authentic New York-style bagels to create savory breakfast and lunch items our guests are sure to love."

The new bagel flavors include the Route 66, the mighty melt and the French toast, with returning favorites such as the pumpkin bagel and the Pumpkin Spice coffee, along with the post-Thanksgiving orange cranberry bagel.
