Bruegger's adds summertime LTOs

Bruegger's Bagels has announced the launch of several new limited-time offers, available now through Sept. 18.

For a fresh summer sandwich, Bruegger’s blended its classic bagel spread – lox and cream cheese – with the flavors of the California sushi roll, for the California Roll Smoked Salmon Sandwich. Served on a sesame bagel, the sandwich features cucumber, smoked salmon and avocado with Bruegger’s wasabi cream cheese.

“We tested the California Roll Smoked Salmon Sandwich in two of our markets and our guests raved about it,” said Bruegger’s executive chef Philip Smith. “They loved the fresh taste combination and unexpected Asian flavor of our wasabi cream cheese that makes this sandwich unique.”

For those who prefer more traditional fare, Bruegger’s added the Better Cheddar Egg sandwich. The sandwich features egg, cheddar cheese, bacon and light herb garlic cream cheese served on a plain bagel.

Bruegger’s also returned its Pretzel Bagel, which combinesthe crunchy salt topping and dark caramel color of a pretzel. The bagel is served as a snack with a side of mustard or as the base for a breakfast or lunch sandwich.

For something sweeter, the company has brought back its Chocolate Chip bagel. Served for breakfast, lunch or a treat, the Chocolate Chip bagel is another seasonal offering.

Bruegger’s featured summer coffee flavor, Kahlúa, is a non-alcoholic version of the after-dinner drink and is made from shade-grown, hand-picked Arabica coffee beans and sugar cane. Bruegger’s Kahlúa coffee can be ordered either hot, iced or as an Iced Coffee Cooler.
