For the second consecutive year, Boston Market restaurants will participate in Share Our Strength's annual Dine Out for No Kid Hungry — a national, week-long event from Sept. 18 through Sept. 24 that brings together restaurants and consumers in the fight to end childhood hunger in America.
From now through Sept. 24, Boston Market restaurants will offer a coupon for a free regular side on a subsequent visit when guests donate $1 or more to the cause during the event. The company is the largest chain to participate in the effort.
Now in its fourth year, Dine Out has helped to raise millions of dollars for No Kid Hungry, Share Our Strength's campaign to end childhood hunger in America by 2015.
"By being part of Share Our Strength's Dine Out for No Kid Hungry, we have the opportunity to draw attention to child hunger and witness the generosity of our fantastic guests," said George Michel, CEO, Boston Market. "We are excited to see what we can accomplish for Share Our Strength with the help of our friends and neighbors."
Last year, diners helped Boston Market donate $125,000 to Share Our Strength.
