As Boston Market enters the final stage in its nationwide rollout of upgrades, the restaurant chain has announced the launch of changes and new menu items in the markets of Hartford, Conn., Washington, D.C., Dallas, Phoenix and Chicago.
Since early October, the company has transformed more than 350 restaurant locations following a successful pilot launch earlier this year. Boston Market locations in Hartford and Washington, D.C., will unveil a new look featuring the replacement of disposable plates and utensils with real plates and stainlessware, and upgraded serving stations to include a Chef’s Hot Case and carving stations. The new Boston Market menu features the addition of new entrées and side dishes. Guests will also notice an exceptional level of hospitality from a more attentive staff.
“The investment we’re making in physical upgrades, small wares and hospitality training is tremendous, and we’re thrilled at how quickly we’ve been able to make these changes in the last three months,” said Tony Buford, senior vice president of operations, Boston Market. “We are proud of our new offering and are very pleased that it is being so well received in our local restaurants."
Boston Market will begin opening its doors this week at 11 restaurant locations in and around Hartford, 21 locations in the Washington, D.C. region, 28 in Dallas, 12 in Phoenix and 29 in Chicago.
With more than three-fourths of Boston Market’s restaurants converted, these new enhancements have contributed to positive guest feedback and a double-digit increase in guest counts and sales.
Specific restaurant enhancements include:
“For 25 years Boston Market has had a respected place on the kitchen tables of homes around the country,” Buford said. “Now with these upgrades and changes, we are highlighting the use of our own kitchen table as a perfect destination for today’s families and friends. We lead busy lives, but we should never be too busy to share a good meal together.”
