Blaze rebrands pizzas in June to support (RED)

June 6, 2019

Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza is working this month with the AIDS-fighting (RED) on the "Eat (RED) Save Lives campaigns and has rebranded its Red Vine pizza as the (RED) Vine in all 330 North American stores to collect donations for the non-profit.

Each guest's purchase of a (RED) Vine pizza and cold drink will trigger a $1 donation to (RED)'s work to fight AIDS, up to $50,000, a news release said. To fan the flames of such purchases, so to speak, guests will earn double flames on each of those orders when they scan their Blaze Pizza apps.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will match the funds collected to generate $100,000 to the cause, which the release said can provide 500,000 days of HIV/AIDS medication.

To date, (RED) has generated more than $600 million for Global Fund grants to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and malaria to support HIV/AIDS grants in Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania and Zambia.
