Blaze Pizza opening at Univ. of Maryland

On Thursday, Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza will begin feeding Terrapins. The company announced it will open its second Maryland location Thursday at the University of Maryland and will celebrate Friday with a grand opening from 11 a.m. to midnight by offering customers free pizza.

To receive a free pizza during that time, customers need to follow the brand on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.

The University of Maryland's campus  location is at 7419 Baltimore Avenue, at the corner of Baltimore and College Avenues. Restaurant hours are 11a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.

The first Maryland location is in Bethesda. A third Maryland location is set to open this November at Laurel's Town Centre, at 14703 Baltimore Avenue.

The Maryland Blaze Pizza locations are operated by AMPAL Group, a franchise group led by franchisee Amit Patel.
